Awesome!!
Wow What a weekend! "Goodie"
9/11-12, 2004
Hello Everyone,
I have just returned from
the most AWESOME weekend at the AHTA UKC Shows in Charlotte, Nc. On Friday my
baby Belle went Best Novice Puppy in Show over 9 very nice all breed puppies.
Beyonce' was 2nd to her gorgeous cousin in puppy class, then Goodie took CH.
class of 5 lovey champions for his 4th grand point then on to BOB and group 1.
On Saturday at show one, we had a repeat of Beyonce' going 2nd to her gorgeous
cousin in puppy class, then Goodie took CH. class of 5 lovey champions for his
5th grand point to become a Grand Champion then on to BOB and group 1. But he
wasn't done yet.
He went
Best In Show!!!
At show 2 on Saturday, Beyonce' went 3rd in puppy class. Goodie was moved up
and took his first Grand Champion Ribbon and went on to a group 2nd. On
Sunday, Goodie had another repeat. Beyonce' went 2nd again. She still lacks 5
points to finish, but I have to say that this was like an AKC show in entries.
The lowest entry was on Sunday with 15 shelties. Sally did herself proud by
winning her second grand ch. point on Sunday in a class of 5 ch.
"Sally"
That is my news, now on to my friend's news. Sally's mom Jasmine owned by
Melissa Williams finished her Championship. Mary Thompson's "Razz", finished his
Championship. and on Sunday, her "Jenga" Redfield's Buiding Dreams went Best
Novice Puppy in Show in a class of 10. June Evan's Lad took his 2nd Best Male
with Competition win. Debbie Costello's son and junior handler won Best Male and
Best of Winners with Remington on Sunday. Tina Stoner of Stonerhaven Shelties
also won points on some of her dogs, both ch. and grand ch and finished her tri
male on Friday. I think everyone had a great time. We are recovering from the
weekend very happily! Thank you to the judges,
Austina Heinz, James Heinz, June Pasko and Dorothy Jacobs for these wonderful
wins!
